Tricks for Keeping the Bathroom Dry

When you are taking a bath or a shower, the one thing that you want to avoid at all times is moisture. Wet bathrooms become a serious safety hazard and can cause injuries if you do not make plans in advance. Therefore, it is imperative that you take precaution with your bathroom showers, as this can save a lot of hassle and pain in the future. Sturdy shower rods and drying materials help to create a safe environment to bathe in twice a day.

When you bathe, it is an exhilarating experience that must be as safe as possible. Shower expansion rods are a great item to give your shower the flexibility that it needs. They reduce the chance of your curtain falling, which can create a water hazard in your bathroom. Simply extend your shower curtain rods to the length necessary so that you do not have to worry about a tight fit. Bathroom standing showers are also beneficial if you do not take baths often. If you seal off the shower, this can create a reservoir for the water so that it does not seep onto the floor. Also, standing showers allow you to dry yourself off after you bathe, so that your feet are not wet when you step out onto the floor.

Your bathroom contains a lot of hard corners and rough surfaces, so slipping can turn into a hazard. It is important to reduce issues with water in your bathroom by installing different items to improve safety and security. This can help you enjoy your invigorating shower experience without worry.

Organizers, Clothing Racks and More: Simple Things You Need to Organize your Kids’ Room

Bela is excited to move in to her new room. It is just me who is stopping her from doing so as I feel that I am not ready to let her be on her own. For sure I will miss our small talks at night and I will miss cuddling her before we both fall asleep. So I think it will take some time before I let her move out from our room.

But if there is one thing I am excited about for having a separate room for Bela is the fact that I will be able to decorate and fix it.

The first thing that I would like to achieve is to organize the room and make it clutter free. This can be a very challenging task especially if a kid is staying in the room but it is possible by following some tips below:

1. Purchase containers and organizers so there is a designated place for everything. Assign one as a container for toys, stuff from school, dirty laundry, etc. Teach your kids that everything should always be in its designated container all the time to minimize clutter.
2. If you don’t have enough space in the kid’s room, purchase Clothing Racks and Wooden Hangers and install it in one corner of the room where you can hang clothes and other stuff to create more storage space.
3. Don’t be afraid to let go of old stuff that you think your kid no longer use. Bring out your plastic retail shopping bags and label them – “For donation to charity”, “For Storage” and for “Garage Sale” so you can start to de-clutter your kid’s room.

Hope these simple tips that I shared here can help other moms with kids like me to organize the room of their kids.

Bela's Garden

I was checking my picture sets in Flickr and saw this:

HHL_9999HHL_9999_10
These pictures were taken the last time Bela went to our house in Bulacan with her dad and grand dad. (Hubby decided to visit since it has been a while since we last went there to check the house. And hubby discovered that there are really a lot of things that needs to be repaired and replaced like the tiles in the rest room, the sink which he is thinking to replace with Franke sink so it will be stylish and durable, and the tiles in the kitchen.)

Bela had fun during their visit as she and her dad planted some seeds in the garden (though it looks like we need to do some trimming of the grass in the garden. LOL). She also watered the plants and she visited her pet pigs there.

It was just a short visit as it is a long weekend when they went there so they are expecting heavy traffic along the highway on their way home so they left after having lunch. Hubby will be back next week from his TD in Micronesia and we might come and visit again soon as we really need to clean the house and move some of our stuffs there as we need a lot of space in our house here in Manila for the coming of the second baby.

Rack 'Em All

My life has become even great when I entered the world of being a wife and mother. And as we savor the fruit of our progress and more and more household equipments were filling our house, I find it hard to make a good arrangement for them, due to the limited space available. When my husband bought again new audio equipments it added to my worries and felt frantically perturbed how I could manage to find a good place for it. Just in time I tried a simple approach to explore the internet and so gladly to find that audio racks is the erudite solution to my messy situation. It has complete selections of different and elegantly organized styling essentials to accommodate precious spaces to add distinction and function and keep items at your fingertips with great ease and comfort.
