To Bohol?

Bela: “Mom, I miss the hotel where we went last time where there is a beach and a pool. What’s the name of the hotel again?”
Me: “That’s Shangri-La in Cebu.”
Bela: “Can we go back there again?”

My princess just loves the beach. My husband actually called me last time and is asking me to look for a flight going to Bohol for our anniversary / my birthday celebration. He said that it is his treat.

I sure miss the rustic decor in Bohol Beach Club, the relax atmosphere, the food, and the beach so I am really tempted to say yes to hubby’s offer but I did not give in right away.

Well ever since we bought our new house, I have been more frugal and I have to think several hundred times before making a purchase. So even if I found a good deal from PAL for their airfare, I decided not to go with it and just use the money for something else.

We will have more opportunity to travel. For the mean time, I wanted to secure first the monthly amortization of our house so we will be secure no matter what happens in the future.

For Bela's 6th

Bela is requesting to visit the Bird Park, Singapore Zoo and to ride the Madagascar Ride in Universal Studios in Singapore for her birthday. Hmm….

The daddy is saying yes while I on the other hand is sceptical if we can afford another out-of the country travel this year. Hubby was saying that it is doable if we will not have a party for Bela on her 6th.

No Party? I think that is a good idea. I am just not sure if Bela will agree with her dad especially since Cobi will have a big party to celebrate his first birthday this year and Bela might request a party too. LOL.

But one thing is for sure. We just have to choose one – travel or party. As we have tons of bills to pay this year and so we have to set our priorities.

She Loves the Beach

Bela: “Mom, I did not go to the beach today.” (What she means is that she was not able to go to the beach this summer).

I actually am thinking if I can still manage to travel now that I am already 8th month pregnant so we can give Bela her wish to go to the beach. But I find it really difficult already as my tummy is getting heavy and I find it hard (and sometimes even painful) to walk or move or do anything.

So I just promised Bela that I will read lipofuze reviews as early as now so I will know what pills to take to help me loose weight fast so we can hit the beach soon after I give birth. She actually like the idea especially when I told her that it will be more fun since her baby brother will be with us for this trip and so she can build sand castles and enjoy the beach with her baby brother.

I actually am dreaming of going to Cebu or Bohol. I will start saving up for this trip as I really wanted to visit the beach when our baby boy is already big enough to travel. Hopefully by December of this year or January 2011.

Bela Lakwatsera

Bela: “Mom, can we go on a vacation?”
Me: “Yes, when dad comes back we will be staying in a hotel just like last time.”
Bela: “No, I want to go on a far, far away vacation then we will go to the beach and I will bring Ody (her toy pet dog).”

The problem is I am seven months pregnant now so I can’t go to places with long distance drive. The nearby resorts that I inquired to, like the resorts in Subic and Batangas, are already fully booked for all weekends until June. How I wish we have an RV with a mechanical breakdown insurance (which I heard is better than warranties because it covers cost for parts and labor, freedom to choose the RV repair center and the other benefits not covered by warranties). At least we don’t have to worry on a place to stay for the night since we can drive to whatever place we like and we can spend the night in our RV.

But I don’t think we can afford an RV for now so Bela has to wait a little longer before he can enjoy the beach. But don’t worry my darling as daddy promised a Boracay trip either end of 2010 or early 2011 so just be patient.

Beach vacation?

Bela was watching her DVD of Mickey’s movie “Around the world in 80 days” and she told me that she wants to go to the beach after seeing Mickey and his gang enjoying the beach.

Actually hubby and I are really planning for a romantic vacation riviera maya. I was actually checking out the site of Karisma hotels and I got really interested with their El Dorado Royale Resort. Imagine, we can really experience the feel of nature and the outdoors because the beach is set in a tropical rainforest. We can also book a Casita Suite with ceiling free showers for a more romantic and natural feel or a swim-up suite where there is an artificial flowing river just right outside our room which is connected to the swimming pool.

Just picturing it in my mind makes me feel relax already. But you know, we figure out that this vacation will not be as fun wit our precious daughter. She is really like her dad who loves the outdoors and nature so I am sure if this vacation will push through, she will definitely have fun.

Next Travel Wish: Miami

When hubby and I went to Europe last month, we decided to leave Bela behind because (1) the travel time is too much for her and (2) there is nothing much that she can see in Europe (except for Paris Disneyland) that she will really enjoy.

While we are on vacation, we really can’t stop thinking about her and so I told hubby that that is the last time that we will be traveling without Bela. Hubby agreed and he suggested that for our next vacation, we should go to the US.

We have a friend who lives in Miami and is inviting us over there. Bela will love the beaches in Miami and of course we will never miss going to Disneyworld in Florida. I am sure she will go crazy as they say it will take you a week to explore and enjoy all the theme parks there.

As for hubby, he is already checking out the site of Miami Dolphins Tickets as he wishes to watch a football game too. You know my husband, he is a sports enthusiast and an ultimate football fan. Good thing the site offers not just a way to purchase good tickets at good price but also serves as a portal for hubby to interact with the other Miami Dolphins fan.

I hope that we will be able to save for this trip because I know that this is one trip we will surely enjoy as a family.
