To Do

I am almost to the finish line and it is just a matter of days before I give birth. Though I am finish shopping for most of the stuffs that our baby boy needs like nursing and feeding essentials and baby clothes, there are still a lot to prepare for the coming of our baby boy.

The first one on the list is the clean up of our second room where we plan to move. I know you have been reading about this plan a number of times already here in my blog but unfortunately, up to know we are still not finish with that project. Hubby has been really busy and weekends are his only free time but we always have other thing to do during the weekends. Second is to shop for nursery linens and nursery finishing. We also need to clean the stroller and the crib that Bela used four years ago.

I am starting to feel the stress already. Hope that we will really finish all of this before I pop.

RL Sale Alert + Free Shipping

I was checking out the site www.dietpillsideeffects.com, but then I got distracted when I saw the email from Ralph Lauren regarding their Summer Sale. They have some baby clothes that are 25% off and it even comes with free shipping.

I missed the last Ralph Lauren sale because they won’t accept my credit cards for payment. Even the US paypal of my friends was not accepted too (which we don’t know the reason why) so the sale ended and we were not able to get anything.

So I am hoping that I will be able to buy the items that are sitting on my shopping cart for days now and even avail of the free shipping. Here are a few items that I want to buy for baby boy and for Bela:

Old Navy Shopping

Since hubby left for a three-week temporary duty to Micronesia, Bela and I haven’t set our foot to malls. And so I really miss the sound that the Symbol LS2208 barcode scanner makes every time I purchase something (I heard sales clerk like to use this barcode scanner since it is so lightweight and durable).

And so what I did is do some online shopping from Old Navy. I learned that they are having a 40% off spring sale and when I checked their items on sale, there are a lot of cute and nice items for Bela and baby boy that I end up checking out with these items:

I bought a number of cargo pants, shirts and shoes for baby boy and shorts, Capri pants, blouse and slippers for Bela. I was so happy with my purchase because majority of them are on Sale.

I already received an email from them that my items have already been shipped and will arrived in 5-9 days which means I will be receiving the items here in Manila in two to three weeks time. I am so excited already.

Hello Baby Shopping

Every Friday at 1:30, I am already off from work. Ever since I got pregnant, my dad together with Bela and my mom will fetch me from work as it is difficult to get a ride home during that time. Last Friday, they fetched me from work and my dad is in a good mood and has agreed to drive me to Hello Baby, the baby clothes store located in 48 Zodiac St in Bel-Air.

Hello Baby sells baby clothes with brands like Carters, Child of Mine, Precious Moments at a fraction of a price if I buy it at the mall. I wanted to go on a Friday sine I heard that it is just a small store so weekdays would be the best time to go so I can choose from mountains of baby clothes stored at their small store freely. And I ended up buying all of these for our baby boy:

Do you think I am one excited mommy? LOL. (Honestly as early as now I am imagining already how my kids will be like when they grow up. Will baby boy be like his dad who is a Computer Engineer or will he follow his uncle’s footsteps and take testosterone boosters to become a body builder or will he be like her uncle from my husband’s side and be a priest. But you know, no matter what road he wishes to take, Howell and I will just be here to support him all the way).

I was able to buy onesies, jump suits, bibs, towels, blankets, booties, mittens, bonnets, pair of shorts and shirts, blankets, burp pads and even cloth diapers. I was so happy with my purchase because I almost completed all the baby clothes that I need for our dear baby boy.

I uploaded the pictures right away, as I was really excited so hubby can take a look at it also. I only bought clothes with sizes for 0-6 months old baby so for sure I will be coming back at Hello Baby store again to shop for more clothes for baby boy.

Happy

Now that I am on my 5th month of pregnancy already, I can already feel my baby move inside me. It is really a wonderful feeling. Howell sometimes gets jealous because he still can’t feel the baby’s kick, not like me, who can always feel how the little baby inside me is growing.

Having Bela is the most wonderful gift we have ever received from God. And now that she is to become an ate soon, we feel more blessed for another blessing that God has given us. I have to deal with loosing weight later (but I know I need not worry since I will be able to find a healthy weight loss program to help me go back to my pre-pregnancy weight) because all I feel right now is nothing but utmost happiness, excitement, joy and love.

We all can’t wait to see the coming of the second addition to our family. Everybody is excited especially Ate Bela. I will have my ultrasound next month and hopefully we will know if we will be having a baby boy or baby girl. I will also have my 4D ultrasound and we are really excited as this will be our first glimpse of how our baby looks like.

I am thankful that after being on bed rest for more than a month, I am doing much better. Please continue to pray for the safety and health of our baby.

Ate Bela

And so I thought I will need the best appetite suppressant because I am now 116 lbs but I guess I have to hold off my diet for at least nine months because Bela will become an Ate soon. Yes, I am so happy to announce that I am now pregnant with our second child.

Of course Howell and Bela are the most excited to receive the good news. I guess they are both hoping for a baby boy as they always refer to the baby in my tummy as “baby brother.”

When I arrived home from my checkup, Bela said “Did the doctor check the baby in your tummy?” and she kissed my tummy after that. I am sure Bela will be the sweetest ate to her sibling. I can’t wait for the time where I can see the two of them playing together. That would really be a site to behold.
