Taking Your Music with You In an iPod

The first iPod was created by Apple Inc. in 2001 and has been a huge success. The retail success of iPods has especially been obvious within the last few years, as the number of sales of these little music players increased. However, it does not seem that the sales of them will ever lose its momentum. iPods can be purchased with varying amounts of storage, and one of the latest versions is the iPod Touch. There are also a number of accessories available for the iPod, such as an iPod case, headphones, and digital camera accessories. These accessories not only help improve the general use of the iPod, but increase its ‘fun factor’ as well. The player is even small enough to be slipped into the pocket of your Tapout jeans.

The iPod is revolutionary in its design and function. Many people only think of it as an MP3 player, but depending on what generation of iPod you have purchased, it can play a large amount of music files, as well as video files, and store small amounts of text. With the ability to record, store, and play voice media, the Apple iPod player has become the popular “must have” device for the twenty-first century.

Access to a computer is necessary, as you will need to transfer music files from the computer’s hard drive to the storage area of the iPod. This is easy for anyone.

After the software has been properly installed on your computer, you are now able to transfer your music files over to the iPod, and are all set to start listening to your favorite music, right at your fingertips. Plus, with accessories such as an iPod case, you are now free to take your music with you, instead of only listening to it on the computer.

Gadget Review: Amazon Kindle

If you are looking for a great birthday or Christmas gift, all of the top affiliate programs agree that the Amazon Kindle is a great present to give to someone. The Amazon Kindle is an eReader that holds thousands of books at a time.

The Amazon Kindle is a lightweight gadget that is portable and able to be taken anywhere on the go. The best reason to have one of these devices is for use on vacations. You can load up your Kindle with as many books as you want and away you go. Instant reading for your whole vacation.

The Kindle comes with Wifi access and is great for downloading books even when you are not at home. However, some books on Amazon can get pretty pricey, so if you like to read all the new releases that come out, be prepared for some books on the Kindle being more expensive than the paperback version.

That being said, the best thing about the Kindle is the instant access you get to books. With one click of your mouse, you can start reading your new book on the Kindle in less than a minute. When not in use, you can either shut down the Kindle or it automatically goes into screensaver mode, where it displays impressive screensavers of classic authors.

For older people that have trouble seeing small print, the Kindle text adjusts to about five different sizes. While there is no backlight for reading in the dark, you can buy a Kindle case that comes with a booklight.

The Kindle is perfect for reading out in the sunlight while relaxing on the beach. There is no glare on the screen and the text doesn't fade from sitting out in the sun. It is definitely the popular gift to give this season.

Her Favorite Games

I need to look for xerox phaser 8560 ink sticks to replenish the supplies that we need in the office but then I did not realized how time quickly flies because I got busy installing free applications for my iPhone that Bela can play with.

I upgraded my iPhone 2G to iPhone 3GS and so it doesn’t have that much applications installed unlike my old 2G phone. So when Bela saw it, this is what she said:

Bela: “Mom, why does your iPhone only have two pages of games. Tita Vj’s iPhone have plenty of pages.”

So I promised her that I will install new applications to my phone so she can play with it. And so I just searched all the free applications in App Store under the Games for Kids category and I was able to find tons of fun activities and games for kids.

So far, Bela’s favourite games are I Wash my Dogs and I wash my Cats game where she can give dogs and cats a bath, the When I Grow Up Game where she can dress up monkeys to different characters, Kids Genius game which has different kinds of activities like matching game and the application Read Me Stories where she gets to listen to bed time stories.

There are still more free applications that I can install from iPhone and I am sure Bela will be happy to see lots of pages on my iPhone filled with her favourite iPhone games.

My Baby

My baby is arriving tomorrow. Do you want to meet her? Her name is Holga. I have been drooling to buy this camera for days now ever since I saw my colleague using one. Last week, I promised myself that I will buy one if I have an overtime schedule this week so I will get the money that I will use to buy my Holga camera from my OT pay. Every Monday we will be notified if we have an overtime schedule and since I did not receive any notice last Monday, I gave up on my desire to buy my Holga this week.

We will be going on an out of town vacation this weekend that is why I want to get hold of my Holga camera this week so I can take it to our out of town vacation. So when my colleague asked me this afternoon if I want to take her schedule for the overtime since she has to attend to some important matters, I quickly said yes without even thinking if I already have prior engagements or not (bad me.) And as soon as I got a confirmation that I will be working overtime tomorrow, I immediately call the Lomo camera supplier that I got from the Urban Bazaar last weekend at Rockwell and before I knew it, I already agreed to meet with her tomorrow and she will deliver my Multicolored Holga in my office together with a 35 mm adapter.

And since I will just be supervising the contractors tomorrow while they do their job, I will have a lot of time tomorrow to read the manual so I can learn about my Holga camera before our out of town this weekend.

I am so excited. I am not really the artistic type and I know that lomo cameras is a hit or miss thing so I am wondering how I will do with a lomo camera. Let’s wait and see. I won’t get a hold of my camera not until after lunch tomorrow so I better look for Dallas Texas hotels first while I still have time as I know I will be very busy studying my new toy when it arrives tomorrow.

Wireless LAN

Just last night, my sister discovered the capability of her mobile phone to access an internet. She asked the help of one of her classmate to activate the connection on her phone. Lucky for her, the availability of the internet through her mobile phone can now be used easily.

Because of this, she tried to connect on one of the wireless used cisco router that she spotted at her school library. She was then able to browse different sites and I was even able to chat with her online through the yahoo messenger.

When she told me about all these things, I was somehow amazed since I am not so aware with the different features of mobile phones. What matters most to me are the capabilities of my phone to make and receive text messages and phone calls. So I asked her if I can also have an internet access with the use of my mobile phone. She checked my phone to know if my phone does have this feature and yes, it does and then I asked her to teach me on how to use it. She organized my internet connection so I can have an access in some places where computers are not available.

Unlock my Phone

Variance styles and features of mobile phones continue to overflow in the market today. One of them is my dream phone that I hope someday will be able to own. In my recent birthday my husband gift filled my heart with so much joy because it was the phone I long dreamed for. The buddy is now right at the palm of my hand.

Little did I know that my happiness was just a short live one and to my great dismay (of course I just kept it to my own and not offend my husband) I found out that the phone was purchased thru a plan basis where only the sim card of the phone provider could make it function making other sim cards like mine invalid. It may not be a big deal if the network of the phone provider dynamically delivers effective communications compared to others but sadly and in reality it is not. My husband will surely be offended if he knew I’m not using my new phone, however if I shifted to it I’m pretty sure it’s the start of my communications dilemma and it made me flummoxed constantly. The best solution for my new phone is to bring it to unlocked phone centers to be able to accommodate various GSM, so while hubby was still in his office I sneaked and have my phone fixed and achieved its functional elegance to meet the strongest demand and help connect for a better world thru excellent communications with various GSM networks.
