Halloween 2009

Bela and I just stayed at home during the weekend as Howell already left for Germany. We spent the day just watching Bela’s favorite shows and she saw the episode of Little Einsteins where they went on a mission to distribute invitations Halloween for their party.

Bela got all excited as she fondly recall her Halloween experience last year. I heard from her current school that they will be distributing party invitations Halloween too to celebrate Halloween. I am sure Bela will be so excited when she receives her invitations party Halloween from Teacher Sarah and she will have fun wearing her costume and go Trick or Treating with her other classmates.

The last time I heard, they will be ordering Invitations Halloween Party from www.invitations-shoppe.com. I am sure they will not have a hard time as the design for the invitations will be proof emailed to them within one hour after they ordered so I am sure we will be expecting to receive one soon.

I'll Think About it Dad

As I’ve said many times, my Princess Bela really loves animals. I actually don’t know how it started. It just turns out one day that she started collecting toy animals and lined them all in our living room.

Because of this, I’m really still thinking about my hubby’s suggestion of buying her a pet dog or cat for her upcoming birthday. I’m still having my second thoughts because I think Bela is not yet capable of handling the responsibilities of having a pet. But hubby insisted that Bela will surely be happy about it and she will definitely love it.

In fact, hubby’s starting to canvass for a pet dog or cat for Bela because he’s really eager to give her a pet. He even looked for a very nice dog house and litter box and when he showed it to Bela, she got really excited.

But then, the decision is still mine and as I have said, I’m still thinking about it for a hundred times I still want an assurance if Bela can take care of her pet well.

Dutch Mill - Bela’s Power Drink

This has been Bela’s power drink lately. We do our grocery twice a month and every time I do our grocery, I always buy Bela 20 pieces of Dutch Mill and this would last until our next grocery schedule.

But lately I noticed that she can consume seven packs of Dutch Mill a day. She really loves drinking this yogurt drink that she will sometimes prefer it over her milk.

Our supplies for her yogurt drink are all gone so we really have to do our grocery, ASAP. Though I don’t know when can we do it as hubby is always working over time.

Bela’s DVD Shopping

It was the weekend sale at SM Mall of Asia when we went there last Monday which is by the way a Philippine holiday) so the mall is really jam packed with a lot of people. But we still manage to go shopping and decided to do our groceries the next day instead since the groceries are also full with shoppers.

Every time we go to MOA, we always have to drop by Astrovision which is hubby’s favorite shop. And while hubby was busy DVD shopping, Bela was also doing her own DVD shopping.

To keep her pre-occupied, I brought her to the rack of DVDs for kids. I saw a VCD of Ratatouille (all DVDs have been sold out already) and gave it to her but she just said no. But when she saw the DVDs of Little Einsteins, she got really excited and gave me a copy of the DVD and she said, “Mom, watch.” After giving it to me, she got 2 more DVDs of Little Einsteins with a different title and she started giving it to me also. Then she also saw the DVDs of Backyardigans and she started to get copies of it and she gave it to me also. I was really laughing while she was doing it. Is my 2 year old turning to be a shopaholic too like her mom? Hmm, dad will not like this. LOL.

She was jumping with joy when she saw me holding the DVDs. Then she grabbed my hands and brought me to the cashier so I can pay for it. Of course, I asked the dad to pay for Bela’s choices.

She immediately watched it as soon as we arrived home and I was happy too because both are educational DVDs and Bela never gets tired of watching them.

Baby Einstein Collection

Bela has a collection of Baby Einstein series given to her by her dad’s colleague. This is her current favorite right now. We always watch it before going to bed and this is so effective since instead of playing inside our room (which she already did for almost the whole day), she will just sit still and watch attentively. Plus it is also very educational so it serves two purpose.

Baby Einstein series is a little different from her Brainy Baby DVDs. For Brainy Baby, they include real babies and children while for Baby Einstein, they use colorful puppets and toys instead which I think is catchier to toddlers. But I think, Bela love’s both her Brainy Baby and Baby Einstein collection.

Meet Bela’s Giraffe & Tiger

This is Bela’s new favorite toy. She discovered her love for it when we went to Bohol. She packed it together with her milk bottles and other diapers. And everywhere we go, she always brings it with her.
This was part of the Mega Blocks gift set that Howell’s officemate gave to Bela on her second birthday. But she’s not fond of the blocks. She just loves this tiger and giraffe.

Bob Marley Fan

“Dont worry about a thing, cause every little thing gonna be all right.”

I just discovered that Bela loves Bob Marley. Hehehe. Howell downloaded Bob Marley songs and he has been playing it in the car yesterday on our way to Greenhills. And Bela was dancing with the song. Her favorite is Three Little Birds. It’s the theme song from the movie Shark Tale. She’s singing along with the player kahit puro dulong lyrics lang alam nya. LOL. “….wowi…..ol right”
